Coal Creek Armory, Inc. is currently accepting resumes for an immediate opening for our new General Manager.
Coal Creek Armory is the area's leader in firearms sales, service and training. We are currently looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual to lead and direct all store activities for our store located in Knoxville Tennessee. This person is expected to achieve the stores sales goals, manage our store associates, uphold superior levels of customer service and control store operations and expenses.
Position Responsibilities
•Promote a customer-focused and team environment, driving volume and anticipating customers’ needs for increased transactions
•Represents the Coal Creek Armory brand and holds sales team accountable to the standard
•Recruits, develops, and retains qualified sales team
•Delegates task directives within timeframes specific to price changes, markdowns, processing of shipment(s), transfers, and proper return process, etc...
•Ensures attainment of all sales, payroll, and inventory shortage goals
•Creates staffing schedule and controls payroll expenses
•Responsible for maintaining visual merchandising presentations, restocking, and recovery.
Requirements and Experience
•Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers
•Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
•Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred
•3 years experience of store management and/or Military leadership background.
•Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
•Proven leader, with a successful track record
